My Parents Are Gone

Today is Christmas and my parents are gone. They've gone to Queensland for a wedding later this week, I think they have free accommodation too at a hotel. So they'll get to rest for most of this week before the wedding, which I suppose they deserve, working and taking care of us each day.
So I think this would be the first Christmas I've had without my parents. So no fancy dinners for me (unless my uncle next door invites us over, which is likely to be the case). But thats alright, The Panel's Christmas Wrap is on tonight, which I've never had the chance to watch on Christmas, mainly because I've been out and what not, so I'll watch that, and Howl's Moving Castle afterwards and Godzilla (Japanese version) after that (I've always wanted to watch a Godzilla movie from start to finish).
But this entry isn't about Christmas, that'll come later in the next few days hopefully.
Essentially a week with no parents is what I'm faced with, that last time this happened was years ago when they went to Asia/Europe, our grandparents took care of us then. This time, we'll be taking care of ourselves, that and my uncle next door. Should be easy, just gotta get food in our stomachs at some point during the day multiple times, we've got money, we've got transport, we've got each other, but most of all, we've got no parents!
Now I just need to learn how to operate the washing machine...
