Who would've thought, the game we played over 10 years ago about collecting pocket monsters is back, encouraging a whole new generation of kids to catch em all, now instead of Red and Blue we've moved onto Black and White, amongst Yellow, Gold and Silver, Ruby and Sapphire, Diamond and Pearl!
Pokemon fever has somehow hit me and the rush of nostalgia just floods me when I play Pokemon White (I got White!), the thrill of meeting new pokemon, throwing a pokeball at it and mashing the A button in hopes that it helps with your chances in catching the pokemon. Battling gym leaders and mashing the B button in hopes that it helps with my chances of depending the move and not fainting. Going to the pokecenter and mashing A while talking to the nurse to heal your pokemon and mashing the A button one too many times that you end up talking to the nurse again, wasting precious poke-seconds. Ahh, pokemon, you haven't changed what makes you awesome.
I've been in and out of gaming for a while, and I guess while I'm in that period where I'm looking for work, I can afford a bit of time to just relax, and play through all the games I've accumulated but never finished (looks at Tales of Symphonia - one day I'll finish you...).
So, pokemon, all these new pokemon is pretty hard on the brain in trying to remember them all while trying to catch them all. I remember the old days where we only needed to remember 151 pokemon, now there's over 600 of them! My favourite pokemon will still be Bulbasaur though, although some of the pokemon in this generation are pretty neat, unfortunately I can't remember any of their names to make my point valid.
Basically, I just wanted to pop by and let you know that I'm playing pokemon and if you play too, let me know, I may need to start trading soon to catch em all!
